After six days, Integrated Logistics�� crews were ready to hoist the reactor into position for Daelim. Lift conditions were ideal with favorable weather and wind speeds of less than 7 m/sec (15.7 mph), within the crane��s rating of 9.8 m/sec (21.9 mph).
That has a congested site that included other significant construction activity with the refinery, crews proceeded cautiously while using tandem lift. Working range through the lift ranged from three m (9.8 ft) into a maximum 24 m (78.7 ft). ��While using CC 8800-1 because main crane, we maintained a lifting speed of approximately 2 m/min (6.6 ft),�� says Manoj. ��The precision from the crane��s control system for this project contributed to the lift.��

In fact the very purpose of this process is actually to protect both contracting parties and obtain resolution. For the client; Engineer to understand a delay impact prior to its occurrence, will greatly allow him the opportunity to act or rectify and secondly obtain knowledge of the event and the consequences involved. This will ease the tension and path the way for negotiation where an amicable solution in terms of time and money is found. This is clearly a win-win solution.

In order to achieve this however the Contractor needs to be in control of its administrative responsibilities, understand his contractual obligations and prescription clauses. One way to make sure this risk is managed is by utilizing pre-configured document templates that guides the user to record the correct information and prompts when the next notice or warning should be submitted. And most importantly it will ensure that the information is received by the other party on time and in the correct format to allow action to be taken. Remember the more time given the more opportunity there is to resolve.
