A Range of Husqvarna Construction Equipment
Husqvarna started out a good handful of decades back as a dominant player in the off road motorcycle, and chainsaw market. Gradually over time though they have branched out into other areas and that now of course includes construction machinery tools.
Now gas powered heavy power tools have been readily accepted by the public due to this companys names highly respected reputation in the small, high horse power, gas motor market genre. However, some people have trouble connecting the Husqvarna name to electric power tools.
What these folks completely fail to realize is that Husqvarna has been manufacturing, and marketing high end, precision sewing machines for years now. So the switch over to quality electric tools like tile saws makes perfect sense. In fact Husqvarna now has three tile saws in their line-up; the TS 250 XS, the TS 250 XL3 and the TS 250 X3.
Now if you have never used a wet tile saw before then you may not realize how important quality is in one of these precision cutting tools. Cheap tile saws just arent going to deliver the level of performance that is required for true precision work. Its the same thing with tools like compound mitre saws.
They also manufacture several types of heavy duty stone and cement cutting tools, like masonry and ring saws, as well as a huge selection of high quality diamond blades. Of course all their blades are made to Husqvarna specifications. One innovation in particular that might really catch your eye though, is their unique diamond chains for chain saws.
Sound interesting? Well just imaging being able to cut off odd ends and trim up cement jobs with a chain saw in the same way that a carpenter can lop off and odd ends of wood on a home frame? Well now with these new high tech saw chains you can in fact do just that.
Still one more Husqvarna innovation worth checking out even if you have no use for it, or cant afford to buy one is their DXR 310 Demolition Robot. Now if you like space age science fiction movies with strange robot actors, youll love to see this one of a kind construction machinery.
The DXR 310 walks on four legs, is operated by remote control and has something of a dinosaur neck with a hardened steel concrete demo tool stuck on the end of it. While it is a nice sized piece of heavy equipment; none the less, its small enough to negotiate around inside buildings.
Wire saws that cut using a diamond studded wire are an excellent tool for cutting off large pieces of concrete from foundations, or lopping off large cement objects like pillars. The problem for builders and demolition operators in the past however, has been that this level of cutting technology just wasnt mobile.
The Husqvarna CS 2512 changes all that and brings wire cutting technology out of quarries and factories right to the job site. It hooks to the ball on a truck and is towed just like a larger compressor, or generator, and is about the same size.
