Crane topples at Plum construction site; no one hurt

 A used tower cranes lifting roof trusses toppled onto an under-construction home on Glengarry Court in Plum Thursday morning.

According to Dave Bender, assistant fire marshal for your Renton Volunteer Fire Department, the used tower cranes toppled because of the weight of the trusses.

 

Nobody was injured, but the tower crane’s boom narrowly missed a neighboring home. It could not be determined what construction company was working at the site.
