EnerMech secures lifting contract
Mechanical engineering service provider EnerMech, situated in Aberdeen, Scotland, has won binding agreement from Eni Norge to supply lifting and inspection services within the Goliat FPSO project, the very first oil field to become developed inside the Barents Sea.

Throughout the three year frame agreement, EnerMech will provide lifting equipment, inspection, cargo transport equipment, elevators and personnel lifting equipments, a firm spokesperson said. Yet another facility will also be opened in Hammerfest.

In 2014 EnerMech invested nearly NOK 20.4 million (US3.5 million) in equipment and facilities to inflate its market reach within the Norwegian oil and coal sector, an organization spokesperson added.
