UK’s largest crane arrives at Middlesbrough port
A MARINE firm has bought the UK’s largest used cranes, which bosses say can establish 40 North-East jobs.
Able UK, which operates Seaton Port in the mouth of the River Tees, near Middlesbrough, says the Liebherr crane will permit it to handle increased are employed in the oil and gas and offshore renewable sectors.

Bosses say the equipment, able to lifting 208 tonnes, would be the first portion of a machinery upgrade and you will be employed to maintain oil and coal drilling rigs.

This company added it can help attract new work to Seaton Port and further boost plans for just a new quay, which could create around 100 further jobs.

The move uses Able secured a legal contract to get rid of North Sea offshore platforms from your Shell operated Brent Field, which it believes could create another 100 posts.
